SGGG Fund Services Inc. Accessibility Statement and Plan

Introduction

SGGG Fund Services Inc. (“SGGG-FSI”) strives to meet the needs of its employees and customers with disabilities and is working hard to remove and prevent barriers to accessibility.

Our organization is committed to fulfilling our requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. This accessibility plan outlines the steps SGGG-FSI is taking to meet those requirements and to improve opportunities for people with disabilities.

Our plan shows how SGGG Fund Services Inc. will play its role in making Ontario an accessible province for all Ontarians.

Previous Actions to Remove and Prevent Barriers

SGGG-FSI has remained in compliance with the Customer Service Standard and engages its customers in regular communications to ensure we are providing our services in an accessible way that meets their requirements.

We train our staff in Ontario’s accessibility laws and aspects of the Ontario Human Rights Code that relate to persons with disabilities, and train employees on accessibility as it relates to their specific roles.

Our Employee Handbook includes commitments to diversity and inclusion, including for people with disabilities. We have annual training and review of our Handbook each year for all staff.

In 2016 we built new offices that are fully accessible and can be reached directly from public transit in an accessible way.

In 2018 we developed Diamond Connect, an AODA-compliant website that allows our customers to access their investment information online.

In 2019 we developed and implemented systems and policies and provided equipment to accommodate staff to work from home if they are unable to travel to and from our office.

In 2020 we implemented touchless entry for all doors and entrances within our office.

We are committed to providing clients and employees with access to information in accessible formats upon request. For example: large print, audio transcription, etc.

Our hiring and employment practises are clearly outlined to provide equal opportunity to people with disabilities and we will make reasonable accommodations to their duties and work environment to remove barriers to employment.
